Hola a todes! Solo quería compartir con ustedes mi experiencia en el Taller de Grabado durante mi estancia en Chiang Mai, Tailandia. Esta serie es muy especial para mi porque está inspirada en los diseños y tallados tradicionales que se encuentran en la arquitectura del Centro Cultural Monfai, donde estuve viviendo durante un mes este año haciendo una Residencia Artística. Chiang Mai fue un hogar para mi y fue un honor encontrar tanta inspiración en mi entorno cotidiano durante mi tiempo ahí.
Muchas Gracias al Profesor Pongdej Chaiyakut por dejarme trabajar en su taller y haberme recibido con los brazos abiertos. Gracias también al talentoso grabador Jo Marut Thamboonruang por compartir conmigo su increíble trabajo.

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to share with you guys my time spent at the Printmaking Studio in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This series of prints is very special to me because it was inspired in the traditional Thai patterns and designs found in the architecture of the Monfai Cultural Centre, where I was an Artist in Residence for over a month earlier this year. Chiang Mai was like a home to me and I was honored to find such inspiration in my everyday surroundings there. Special thanks to Professor Pongdej Chaiyakut for allowing me to work in his studio and being so welcoming. Also big thanks to Jo Marut Thamboonruang who is an amazing artist and a very inspiring printmaker.
